The BRIGGS & STRATTON 706601 Pressure Washer Gun controls pressurized water through the trigger and connects the pressure hose to the spray wand for directed cleaning.

\n

Problems This Part Can Resolve:

\n

• Trigger requires excessive force.

\n

• Connection drips during spraying.

\n

• Water stream weakens suddenly.

\n

• Spray wand disengages from the gun.

\n

• Trigger operation becomes intermittent.

\n

Heavy Trigger Resistance

\n

Quick Check: With the washer completely depressurized, squeeze and release the trigger to assess its movement.

\n

Fix Suggestion: Examine the trigger area for foreign material or physical damage and arrange service when the mechanism remains difficult to operate.

\n

Prevention Tip: Store the gun away from dust, mud, and other material that could enter moving areas.

\n

Hose Joint Dripping

\n

Quick Check: Look around the pressure hose connection for fresh droplets after the washer has been shut down.

\n

Fix Suggestion: Check the connection seating and sealing surfaces, then reconnect the hose without forcing the fitting.

\n

Prevention Tip: Keep fittings clean and avoid dragging the hose by the gun.

\n

Sudden Flow Reduction

\n

Quick Check: Confirm the water source is open and check the gun outlet and wand for an obstruction.

\n

Fix Suggestion: Clear an accessible restriction and verify that the water path is properly connected.

\n

Prevention Tip: Prevent sediment from entering the pressure washer water supply and rinse accessories after use.

\n

Wand Retention Problem

\n

Quick Check: Turn off the equipment and gently test the wand where it joins the gun.

\n

Fix Suggestion: Re-engage the wand connection and inspect the coupling for damage if the attachment remains loose.

\n

Prevention Tip: Store the gun and wand separately when practical to reduce strain on the connection.

\n

Customer Experience: A pressure washer owner switched to the BRIGGS & STRATTON 706601 gun after the previous gun developed fitting trouble and noticed steadier water control during use.
