The Echo A411000221 Ignition Coil is part of a long line of Echo outdoor power equipment that includes chainsaws, brush cutters and trimmers. Sufficient fuel has to be discharged into the engine's combustion chamber to ensure it will immediately ignite once there, making it essential for the production of the high voltage spark needed for the high speed flame engine. Low voltage electrical current is supplied by the engine's control module to the ignition coil. It then pushes this voltage up tens of thousands of volts. The air-fuel mixture is ionized making a spark by the high voltage current that is then sent to the spark plug. It ignites this spark that fires the mixture causing combustion, which, in turn, powers the engine.
