The Homelite 997465001 Side Discharge Chute is a part that is used on certain models of lawn tractors. This attachment discharges the grass clippings that are thrown out by the mower deck to the side and not towards the operator. It operates through the formation of a channel that directs the cut grass coming out of the mowing chamber to the right side of the tractor and spreads it over the lawn.
