The Briggs & Stratton 843447 Engine Air Cleaner cover can be used to replace the original cover that covers the air filter and other related housing to ensure they are not exposed to dirt, debris and damages. The air cleaner cover fits or screws to the air intake/air-filter housing to the engine creating a sealed cover of the filter element. It assists in making sure that the incoming air is pulled through the filter media instead of reflecting around or taking raw air to the carburetor/intake. By so doing it helps in the smooth flow of air and excludes any form of contaminants in the engine intake system.
