Description

The Briggs & Stratton 693863 Engine Air Cleaner Base Primer is an assembly that mounts on the air cleaner supporting base and, in addition, primes fuel for the engine. It is mounted on the carburetor intake, where it secures the air filter while directing incoming air through the filtration path. The primer bulb built into it primes the carburetor with fuel to facilitate easy starting after long periods of non-use. It supplies steady fuel priming, proper support for the air filter, and efficient routing of airflow, which culminates in steady engine startup.
