Description

The Briggs & Stratton 716257 Engine Valve Exhaust stroke to allow combustion gases to exit the cylinder, operating in sync with the camshaft and train timing. It closes to seal the combustion chamber during compression and power strokes, and controlling gas flow between intake and exhaust cycles. It is installed within the cylinder head as part of the train assembly, positioned to coordinate with the camshaft for timed gas release in compatible small engines and overhead valve configurations in appropriate applications.
