The Campbell Hausfeld AR048200CG Air Compressor Tank is a storage unit for compressed air produced by the common commutator pump and which in turn supplies that air to attached pneumatic tools and equipment during use. It maintains air pressure in the system which in turn allows for delivery of compressed air as it is needed and at the same time assists with consistent commutator action. This tank is put in as the main air storage reservoir within the unit assembly which it does connect to the pump, pressure switch, fittings and outlet elements. Built as a replacement part this tank assists in restoring the compressors air storage capacity and in that support normal operation of the full system.
