Description

The Craftsman 583012MA Wheel Sprocket & Hub is a part of the drive assembly that connects the part to the propulsion system of the snowblower. It fits on the axle and activates the drive chain to transfer power from the transmission to the wheel, allowing control over forward and reverse movement. The toothed portion of the sprocket is that which connects with the chain, the hub is the part that essentially keeps the wheel in position while allowing rotation so that power is allowed to be applied.
