The DeWalt N660118 Switch is an on/off switch that is compatible with a range of power tools. It regulates the power supply to the motor of the tool and therefore its functioning. When the switch is in the on position, it connects the two terminals and hence closes the circuit and the tool is on. Turning it off opens the circuit breaker and that halts the functioning of the tool. Replacing a faulty switch brings back the functionality of the tool to its normal state.
