Description

The Generac Delco 87263 Lawn Mower Starter 390 80 DB 3 connects the engine flywheel through an electric starting motor that initiates rotational movement required for ignition. It works by drawing electrical energy from the power system and converting it into mechanical torque, which drives a pinion gear to mesh with the flywheel and crank the engine until combustion begins and sustained running is produced within the starting assembly cycle. It is installed on compatible engines at the starter mounting position adjacent to the flywheel housing within the engine block assembly.
