The Husky 795-00602 Bar Chainsaw 20" S directs the unit around the cutting path, allowing the chain to rotate smoothly and maintain alignment during operations. As the chainsaw runs, the bar supports the moving chain while directing its travel around the nose and along the guide rails, enabling the cutting teeth to contact wood in a controlled manner. This component is mounted to the powerhead of a compatible chainsaw, where it extends outward from the drive sprocket area and provides the track on which the chain operates.
