Description

The JT9-JWL1220-142A Lathe Tool Rest is supplied and can be utilized to place hand tools next to rotating work elements. It is utilized to maintain a stable resting surface on a cutting part when shaping material during a turning machining process. The mounting base is for fixing on the lathe bed and allows mounting in position based on the position of the workpiece. The locking mechanism secures the selected position during the machining process. The extended supplied area allows for different tool positions during the cutting process as the cut moves across the standard part.
