The Kobalt XC002200IP Reciprocating Pump 2HP Stage-2 is a stage pump that is compatible with air compressors. It compresses air in two phases which boosts the pressure to drive tools or inflate tires. Pistons move in cylinders to pressurize and store air in the tank to be used. The Stage-2 design provides better power and efficiency. It pulls air and compresses it in two phases breathing more pressure to challenging duties. When the pump is in action, pistons move in the cylinders compressing air and it is stored in the tank to be used in powering pneumatic tools or inflating tires. This Stage-2 design provides greater pressure output and better performance as compared to single stage pumps.
