Description

The MI-T-M 850-0345 Pressure Washer Unloader is a water flow controller in the pumping system. It monitors water flow and water pressure and regulates the flow of water through the bypass circuit when the spray gun is closed or water direction changes. This is mounted in the pump and discharge plumbing and regulates the flow of pressurized water in the plumbing. During operation it performs pressure control functions by allowing water to flow through the specified and assists in the regulation of the pump system when water delivery is interrupted.

Dimensions:

  • Weight: 4 lbs

The MI-T-M 850-0345 Pressure Washer Unloader regulates water pressure within the pump by diverting flow when the spray control is released. A worn unloader can cause unstable pressure, pump strain, and inconsistent cleaning output.

This part fixes the following symptoms:

• Pressure fluctuates during use.

• Low water pressure output.

• Pump remains under constant load.

• Pressure spikes when trigger is released.

• Inconsistent spray performance.

Pressure Fluctuates During Use

Quick Check: Observe pressure gauge while repeatedly squeezing and releasing trigger.

Fix Suggestion: Restore balanced pressure regulation by installing a properly operating unloader.

Prevention Tip: Flush pump system regularly to minimize internal valve contamination.

Low Water Pressure Output

Quick Check: Verify inlet water supply before inspecting unloader valve operation.

Fix Suggestion: Correct restricted pressure control using a properly functioning replacement unloader.

Prevention Tip: Use clean water to reduce mineral deposits inside pressure components.

Pump Remains Under Constant Load

Quick Check: Release trigger and listen for normal pressure bypass operation.

Fix Suggestion: Change the sticking unloader preventing proper water bypass circulation.

Prevention Tip: Avoid prolonged idling with the trigger closed during operation.

Pressure Spikes When Trigger Is Released

Quick Check: Monitor pressure response immediately after releasing spray gun trigger.

Fix Suggestion: Remove excessive pressure buildup by renewing the faulty unloader valve.

Prevention Tip: Inspect pressure control components before each heavy cleaning session.

Customer Experience: After installing the MI-T-M 850-0345 Pressure Washer Unloader, the spray pressure became much steadier, trigger response improved, and the pump operated smoothly throughout extended cleaning work.
