Description
The MTD 951-10645B Snow Blower Electric Starter activates when connected to the ignition circuit drawing electrical power to rotate the starter motor and initiate engine cranking. It engages a drive gear with the engine flywheel turning it rapidly to begin the combustion sequence needed for engine start-up. It is installed on the snow blower engine housing, positioned adjacent to the recoil assembly on the side of the engine block, mounting with bracket fasteners, aligning with the flywheel housing, and using electrical connectors linking it to the ignition system for activation during starting operations.
