Description

The Murray 1501226YZMA Snow Blower Auger Idler Assembly is responsible for keeping the right amount of pressure on the auger belt to be able to engage and disengage the front ice-crushing blades. When the control handle lever is depressed by the operator, a cable attached to this spring-loaded arm moves it, making the pulley wheel inside it go towards the drive belt that is spinning to get it to transfer the power of the engine in rotation. This mounting is a mechanical bracket that goes in the main frame housing directly between the engine pulley and the front auger assembly housing.
