Ryobi Electric Tools 791-181460B Trimmer Reel & Line Assembly

The Ryobi Electric Tools 791-181460B Trimmer Reel & Line Assembly supplies trimmer line to the cutting head for grass and light vegetation trimming. Damage, wear, or spool interference can interrupt line feed and reduce cutting capability.

This part may resolve the following problems:

• Trimmer line not feeding.

• Line breaking too frequently.

• Uneven line extension.

• Reel binding during operation.

• Cutting width reduced.

Feed Path Blockage

Quick Check: Press the bump head and observe whether the trimmer line advances normally.

Fix Suggestion: Replace the reel and line assembly if the spool is jammed or the line cannot feed freely.

Prevention Tip: Remove grass and debris from the spool housing after each trimming session.

Excessive Line Wear

Quick Check: Observe whether the line snaps repeatedly while trimming light vegetation.

Fix Suggestion: Install a new reel and line assembly when the line becomes too short or worn.

Prevention Tip: Keep the cutting head away from concrete, stones, and other abrasive surfaces.

Spool Rotation Restriction

Quick Check: Remove the reel and rotate it by hand to confirm it moves freely inside the housing.

Fix Suggestion: Fit a replacement assembly if the spool sticks or shows visible damage.

Prevention Tip: Periodically clean the spool compartment to prevent dirt accumulation.

Uneven Line Release

Quick Check: Compare both ends of the trimmer line while operating to see whether they extend evenly.

Fix Suggestion: Replace the reel assembly if the line feeds unevenly or becomes tangled inside the spool.

Prevention Tip: Use the trimmer within its intended cutting range to reduce unnecessary stress on the line.

Customer Experience: Some users shared that after installing the Ryobi Electric Tools 791-181460B Trimmer Reel & Line Assembly and loading the line correctly, the trimmer fed line consistently and required fewer interruptions during routine trimming.
